I'm so sick of English politicians pandering to the far-right. This is neither progressive politics nor conservative politics. It's a monster made from populusm, xenophobia and re-heated Thatcherism – with the Tories, Labour and Reform all going after the same segment of the electorate.

Kemi Badenoch delivers a speech devoted to announcing that she will "likely" commit to taking the UK out of the ECHR, but adds that she "won't commit" to doing so now because she hasn't worked out a plan for doing it.
