I really do not like it, at all. It feels so dull and lifeless, I just think Bethesda can do so much more, at least in terms of writing (which was awful).
Anyhow I'm excited for any videos you make on it :] I always love hearing what others think about things I dislike
One of us. ONE OF US.
It's a good game, it just takes a little patience and imagination to fully enjoy. The story is also a nice little dip into philosophy.
I should get around to playing it someday. My friend told me a story about how there's a mission where you can either side with the cops, or with pirates fighting the cops, and when he did the only reasoning his character could give was "BECAUSE I LIKE EVUL", so I just kinda lost interest lol
do you know what a "turn off your brain" game is? that's how. good thing to play to see the numbers go up. the gameplay's absolutely fine, but everything else surrounding it is terrible
I think Barrett is our favorite companion, it's incredibly sweet that they wrote a gay man mourning for his lost love, but then we think about everything relating to the snake people religion and pop a blood vessel because it's so *vague* lol. the DLC didn't make it better, it made it even worse
I mean I really do love the setting of the world. Though that's also the reason I'm not really a fan of space wizards, as cool as that sounds.
The world of Starfield is meant to be realistic, based on real scientific theories and tech. Throwing in space magic just feels really out of place.
yeah I agree, it only dillutes what could've been a very interesting world if done right. space magic feels like they're not only being lazy with reusing dragon shouts from skyrim, but deeply uncreative too.
I think the game would've been even better if they just didn't have a major overarching story. You're part of an exploration group, so they absolutely could've just had a bunch of smaller stories and adventure you and that group go on instead of some big mystery about the universe itself.
As you should, there are lots of us despite the internet commentary
One of the reasons Starfield articles still get so many clicks a year and a half later, many people pile on and many disagree. It's been a great game from the start and only getting better
Same. It’s not the worst game in the world but it has the potential to be so much better.
My major complaint with it is once you go through it once there really isn’t much reason to go through it again aside from increased powers and occasional new dialogue options.

It has the vibe of an early-access 8th-gen game but it was sold for $70 and hyped as if it was a revolution.
I think with more honest marketing, and a lower price point, the game would’ve done a lot better.

However, I'd love some Austin content on Starfield

Either it's the best ever or the worst in the world.
Haven't had a chance to play Starfield but am looking forward to your thoughts on it!
