Go for it, it’s better for you to express that part of your life than to keep it all in. Sure you’ve got to have boundaries but sharing that you’re down or going through it is completely human. Asking for help is exercising good mental health. Being authentic helps you grow!

I would guess one feels less vulnerable 🤷🏻‍♂️ I know it’s a lot harder to talk about my problems for a wide variety of reasons, and although nudity can be vulnerable I think it also masks intellectual/emotional vulnerability. I’m showing everything, but only in one regard and everything else is hidden 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think I've always just gotten in my head about sharing it. Thinking people will only see it as me begging for attention, and I have always played those emotions close to my chest. When sometimes it just feels good to share or vent. Even if it's a scream into the void

I think that’s pretty common. It could be good if you have someone or a small circle to share those feelings with. People who understand you just need help processing and are not seeking attention. It can be difficult to find/make that circle but definitely worth it

I definitely have that! And it's what I usually do. But sometimes those people don't respond, and it feels better to just get it out and not sit alone with it.

I'm always in my head about posting, so it's nice to see this thread.

I try to remind myself that it's my page and I can post what I want. But at the end of the day, I keep my thoughts in the drafts and just post a thirst trap. It's somehow less vulnerable and gets engagement.

It's so hard. But definitely very rewarding posting what you want. And know you'll have support for a lot of people.

Tough to struggle with engagement tho, but that's never been my worry thankfully. I'm grateful to get 1 like on a post, cause who should care what I have to say or what I look like.
