I’m sure someone more mathematically minded than me than work out, but diaspora needs to be limited, and the last years Norwegian suggestion of increasing the public percentage shouldn’t be explored.

One last negative thing - Eurovision needs to be more “live”.There were far too many songs that depended on a strong pre-recorded backing track

Parg in particular,not singing whilst treadmilling. Even the UK was obvious on parts

The point of “6 on stage, all live, all for 3 minutes” is fairness.

It's interesting you say that. This year's stage is one of the most live audience oriented ones ever. Although, many acts relied too heavily on the "main floor" in the back.

Wasn't some part of pre recorded allowed as a consequence of the covid 2021? And that was something they decided to keep, no?

But I have never understood where they draw the lines, and how much of the backing vocals must be sung live.

Very good point. As an Australian who lived in Czechia for some time, while both of my countries didn't have amazing songs this year, both are already at a disadvantage when it comes to having few or none other countries where we can depend on some regular support in the public vote.
