Domestically, disrupting NOAA will be disastrous. Many thousands of lives have been saved in the last 10 years by dramatic advances in the forecasting of severe storms. Think of all of the major hurricanes in the last few years--NOAA predicted the landfall within +/- 20mi consistently.
