I watched the movie Mountainhead last night, which is a satire on the tech bros. It’s awful, I just warned you. But what they do very clearly satirize is the Silicon Valley belief that they rule the world and have little regard for the president.

As much as I usually like Steve Carrell & Jason Schwartzman's work, I don't care abt billionaires' lives & motivations, satire or not. If they were poor & toxic, I wouldn't care either. This film is not for me. Not sure who it is for.
I've only watched the trailer and it was enough to see there's no THERE there in the characters. They operate on a frequency that is foreign to me, lusting to not feel hollow inside. They are immune to any notion of "enough", which is a merciless quest. Just look at what it's done to Musk.
I watched it yesterday afternoon & an hour later World War Douche erupted. Not that we all didn’t see this coming, but my mind was blown by real life imitating the art(?) almost immediately after viewing. Wild.
Ahh. Thought same. Should have enjoyed it more but wasn’t into it. Hard to laugh when truth is those bazillions give folks the benefit of being their own nations. They can travel and avoid laws they don’t like and live above us all.
And the truth is they are just a bunch of idiot babies who are never satisfied at heart. Geez. Maybe they could build a library or a park or something for us little people?! Or nah?
