The movie is great, but I wish everyone could see the Alan Cumming version that was on Broadway. It really, really makes the point so powerfully. Really wish there was a way to buy copies of shows no longer playing (no I don’t want to pay for a monthly streaming access).

When did you last see Cabaret? Might now be a good time to rewatch sentiments such as thinking Nazis are okay as long as they eliminate Communists.

I will say that I saw it on Broadway and the final image was the MC with a pink triangle; it made me misremember the final shot of this film version.
