I lost my dad to Cancer in 2019. He was oddly enough a higher up for an insurance company, making an insanely good salary... and yet even with his company insurance plan and savings saved up, it royally dented him to afford those treatments. I think that's what's radicalized me tbh.
I’m sorry to hear you lost your dad! I lost mine to complications of cancer treatment for SCC of the head and neck region. He had excellent insurance and it still failed him. It hurts like a punch to the stomach when I think about deaths related to insurance complications.
Thanks! I was diagnosed with lymphoma 10 years ago but it’s a slow growing lymphoma and I have been on active monitoring for 10 years - no treatment. Then suddenly I have shoulder pain and we find a 3 inch bone tumor in my humerus 😳 it’s miserable but I do start radiation next week! Hope it works!
