The segment of Crystal Drive between 20th St S & 23rd St S has been repaved and restriped. Still some curbs and green paint to be added but my first impression was not great 😐

As long as car manufacturers advertise 0-60 MPH in less than 10 seconds as a good thing and refuse to put speed limiters in their vehicles (in the US); the entire notion of trying to limit the speed of bikes and scooters is elitist and superficial.
Another instance of “we’ll do everything to bike lanes that we should be doing to the street.”
I really love 🙄 the way cars have a straight path with no obstruction but mobility lane users are forced to the curb (originally designed so cars could park) to maneuver around obstacle after obstacle 🙃

Arlington needs a better designed micro parking infrastructure with designated rented ride parking.
These companies also need to do better about having a maintenance plan that is both proactive and engaging.
Plus they need a system to be able to track for improper use and parking.
There is a great need for rented rides but not at the expense of others safety.
