Ugh. I hate it when people say that there is no more oppression in Europe, even though it's obviously false. I constantly have to hear this from my family, only for them to then say the most heinous shit in the next sentence. It sucks.

Yeah exactly ... Oppression still exists everywhere even the most accepting places, and people who act like it doesn't are usually part of the problem

Yeah, at best the oppression is dying down, but it is still prevalent... It for sure does not simply disappear overnight
