Incidents like this — law enforcement entering the wrong house — are already far too common.

ICE stormed into the wrong house, trashed the place, and made women/girls stand outside in the rain in their underwear. ICE also stole phones, laptops, and cash savings from the family, who moved to OKC two weeks ago.

The problem isn't wrong house, it's wrong cops. Everything they did after they arrived on site was fucked up, from violent entry to cruel treatment to theft to lack of paperwork or recompense.
And then folks should note that for all their mayhem, police just aren't very good at their jobs. Would you hire a plumber who trashed your house but could only fix your pipes 15% of the time?
They've long argued that the second amendment is for defense against government tyranny, so now they need to go on record and say they'll defend someone if they defend themselves.
That's the whole point. ICE is intentionally trying to provoke people into a violent response.
