His professed excuse for not paying alimony, during divorce proceedings with his late wife (whom he probably drove to suicide) was that a Trichinosis worm had gnawed on is brain.

I can think of several more likely reasons he didn’t meet his responsibilities.

Also thanks- I kept seeing the worm thing but I didn’t take time to look it up. Now I’m at least marginally up to speed!
