Yes, Zuckerberg baited us to switch from Twitter after Musk trampled it.

They left it alone for about a year, then set the hook by shadowbanning and suppressing accounts with pro-democracy posts.

So we came here.

I never see you on my feed. I realized yesterday that a bunch of people I follow but NEVER see are now in the “Discovery” section. Others I have to find manually. Bluesky was not like this half a year ago.

Well it might be because I deleted my previous account when I had to travel abroad, and I didn’t want to get harassed by Homeland Security on the way back into the country. Kinda drastic, but I’ve been hearing stories… so now I started over. Thanks for the follow back

It certainly could be, but that seems to be the issue with Bluesky nowadays, the people I most often read are almost never in my feed anymore, I have to go seek them out manually. Even if I engage with them regularly. I see the same bigger accounts more often with a few randoms thrown in.

Yeah that's how it is for a lot of people and my account. It started a few months ago. I have accounts I have to seek out manually too, even though I check them regularly because they belong to some of my favorite people.
