This has always been Ru’s goal— tight control of Ukrainian domestic politics. To Ru the euphemism of « friendly Ukr » means a vassal/satellite, like Belarus today or EEurope during the Cold War. This is a reddest of red lines for Ukraine, who are fighting above all for their freedom and sovereignty.
