It will never not blow my mind that we can take pictures of the SURFACE OF ANOTHER PLANET and only a *few hours later* see them on our phones

I don’t know if the science would have any great value but the planet-rise pictures would be excellent
But like, what if there never is? That wouldn't make it less valuable or important to study Mars. It *would* make the point that perhaps life only ever formed and was sustained on Earth (at least in this planetary system).
