I’m not 65, won’t be til later this year. And I wasn’t planning to claim Social Security until I turned 70. But name the street and I’ll be there for the cause. I was really looking forward to retirement. But if I don’t get to, because of these a-holes, I’d rather die fighting than working.

The largest growing number of homeless are older individuals, no longer employable and without adequate retirement or enough income to rent a place to live. Americans for decades have not just ignored, but disdained the homeless, even families with children.

So much this! My parents are deceased but I know there's a LOT of people who can't afford to cover a loved one's monthly expenses. I don't want any payments missed but that would be THE wake up call for many.

Parents will also be unable to afford to remain in their homes if they can’t meet their rent/mortgage payments. One other thing to consider, people who get Social Security spend that money. It goes right back into the community. The snowball effect of this will crash the economy.
