This woman's story is pretty remarkable.
"Ali France, the Labor candidate who is the first person to unseat an opposition leader at an election, is a disability advocate, former journalist and world champion para-athlete.
France lost her eldest son, Henry, to leukaemia last year."

I think he wanted to look hard and emotionless, but if he'd shown us that bit of humanity, it might have gone differently.
I still hate him though. And him misjudgingthe appeal of humanity is proof he shouldn't have won.
He let me see a man with almost no empathy, who refused to be disagreed with, and didn't see the red flags everyone else did. Plus no charisma.
Not PM material.

Astonishing persistence in the face of adversity from Ali France.
Her well-deserved place in Australian political history is now assured.
Thanks for giving this yarn a signal boost, Ben. 👍

Meanwhile, Bruce Fanjoy and Ali France should be drinking champagne for unseating two despicable candidates from their own ridings.
Did he really tweet this out from the official WH account?!

We just call them LNP or Coalition these days because they can’t form government on their own, they don’t have the numbers without the National Party (aka Country Party).
A shrinking demographic.
They're also happy for people to do what they want behind closed doors, as long as it's legal. Oh, but only when the laws favor straight white men. They always fight against any law resembling DEI.
