I saw some genius in the 80s wearing a wallet that looked like a shoulder holster. All leather. Even looked like it had all the adjustment bits an actual holster would have. All he needed was a big target on his shirt.
There was a dude with one of those in my home town (a place both artsy and redneck)
Also carried a switch blade comb and a light shaped like a hand grenade
I feel like this challenge, come up with a particularly bad dangerous or absurd product design should be in every design schools curriculum. It was in mine and I loved exploring dangoerous furniture for the darwinnowing potential!
The perfect product for the toxic masculinity crowd that uses dude wipes, tactical baby carries and refuses to buy anything that isn't "military grade"
Went to a Halloween party once as Green Hornet. Long coat, suit, mask, shoulder holster, realistic fake gun, and later I'm at the Astro with the coat and jacket off and realize I'm next to a table full of cops, who don't bat an eye. And right then was when I understood what white privilege was.
I imagine sharpening the edges of a metal credit card so if you’re ever mugged, you could be like, “Oh you want my money, huh??!” And then you throw it at their head like a Chinese star
😂😂 Innit!
Though if you’re packing that as your fanny pack but have every socks on in your reef shoes/Nike Air Jerusalem & an M&S polo shirt, any possible threat is dampened 😂😂😂😂
Wristwatch that you fill up with a sedative and a stimulant that has a transdermal drug alarm function, so you can set exactly when you want to wake up and when you want to go to bed.
My school uniform belt, from 1974. Put your money in the purse, then have some bully pop you on the waist, dropping your belt and take off with the plunder...
My partner watches a lot of YouTube and she found a great series by a man called Mike Mozart about bad toy design. There was the batman water pistol where you filled him up through his butt, but the best may have been the Punisher doll with the crotch rocket or the JO Tarzan https://youtu.be/EljaGpogiws?si=QuZgEXtVitzBKQXe
I wouldn´t want to get the public concerned with that and possibly ask questions to police, but here in Germany it´s all fun and games moreOr Less
At Halloween etc. nobody is afraid to wield a fake gun. Maybe could get dicey when it´s realistic like some softair are, but you ain´t getting dropped.
