Hate to suggest that the legit media in the US simply ignore these White House puppet shows, but we've perhaps come to that point. It's staged propaganda so to take part in it is to effectively be complicit in endorsing it & giving it credibility when there is none.

The only benefit to having objective news media in the press pool is that they might get answers to difficult questions. But they rarely ask difficult questions and when they do, they rarely get meaningful answers. The whole process is a charade. I don't think it matters who is in the press pool.
