Me too. I’ve had family and friends there. We managed to coexist, but after November 5th, and especially the last month, I can’t see continuing any relationship with they who shrug their shoulders at all this.

I reached that point some time ago. Sux, but it is what it is now. There is no way to form bonds with someone you that share zero values in common. It just will never happen.
I've tried to talk to people who say they aren't interested in or follow politics... That it's the bases of your values.. Which generally comes from a faith base..
But politics is what you stand for, believe in, support... Education, fairness, equality, roads, libraries, parks, freedoms, health care, kids, woman's rights, pets, environment, safety.. Etc...

This a tough one for me, I have 2 friends, one 50yrs of friendship, the other almost 40yrs, that both voted for 45. We don't discuss politics but there's my knowing that saddens me.
For me there is a world bigger than just politics. They don't impose their political beliefs on me, and I don't on them. I have other friends I discuss politics with.

I not only don't want them as friends, I don't want to do business with them. I don't want them coming to family functions, or sitting at my table. I don't want them on TV programs that I watch. I don't want them as CEO of a company that I invest in, because I can't trust their judgement.
My ex bff voted for Trump and when I questioned her on it, her concerns were grocery prices and immigration (?). Then after the inauguration, I asked her about it again and she said “I just wish the best for the president, like I do every president”. Such a cop out. We haven’t spoken since.
I will NEVER forgive anyone who voted this regime in. Ignorance when voting is the worst excuse. All they had to do was pay attention and they would have seen what was coming. They CHOSE to stay uninformed about what was really going on.
