I know he's known for his surrealistic takes on suburban life, but I adore The Straight Story.
It's just a beautiful piece of story telling and it moves me to tears everytime I watch it.

He leaves a tremendous back catalogue of work that will inspire and entertain us for years to come. Sometimes scare and shock us too: "Eraserhead" still haunts me, after nearly 50 years...
