Until I started on Twitter, some 8 years ago, I’d never considered myself a person of opinions.
I found my voice pretty quickly, & felt no qualms about using it. If that makes me opinionated… so be it.

Mostly it is a term used by those who disagree or feel threatened with one to denigrate one and one's argument.
In my professional life, l had to be very careful what and how l said things, to avoid people taking offence.
They still did though and complained.
People will always find a reason to be offended.
Bugger them.

Now, politics is is making everybody's lives worse and we now need to pay attention, politics is no longer a slow march of progress, but sending us all backwards at speed

It became like chatting to friends in a pub.
Without needing a taxi home, a second mortgage for beer or inevitable boring bits.
Sadly it quickly filled with those who can't handle words or emotional intelligence.
Happily I found my way here through writer friends.
