I don't even know really what "mascuilinity" includes. Some tell me it means to "man up" or to have less empathy and sympathy for others in stressful situations. Usually, if someone demands me to drop empathy to "man up", I simply say "no", also because I don't know what they expect from me.

Frankly it's a bs construct especially nowadays. I've taught most son that the only thing that matters is being able to take care of your "own" (family, community, friends etc) sex/gender be damned. That takes empathy, that requires an inherent behavior that questions every action. 😊😊
