It's especially clear in POE2,
You can't reach that level with a hardcore character without spending 100's of hours and knowing how gear works, and he clearly didn't know that he had aome of the best gear in the whole game

The flip side is - given those levels are only possible by spending 100's (if not 1000's) of hours - then if it IS him it really does not leave enough time to effectively run 6 different companies and a government department.
