But FYI if you're interested, the remotest place in UK based on walking times is the southern tip of the Caiteseal Peninsula between Loch Seaforth and Loch Claidh on the Isle of Lewis. Takes about 9 hours to walk there from the nearest road.
Thanks Steve, I said Sutherland as I recalled reading Mike Cawthorne’s Hell of a Journey, if my memory serves me right, he started at Cape Wrath and didn’t see another soul for 9 days! To be fair, it was winter!
