Years ago in a comp long masters program a professor told me that building a model of language and expecting thought was like building a model of the ocean and expecting to get wet, and anyone who said otherwise was a con. I think about him a lot

I'm floored by the fact that everyone is racing towards AGI with zero idea how to integrate it into our society.
We haven't figured out how to integrate the existing technologies.
