Seasons are only six mostly short episodes long so I don't really see why you shouldn't just watch it first

not really but watching season 1 helps set up a lot of things mentioned in passing in season 1 like why nathan refuses to use child actors going forward and what the “fielder method” is. not crucial but can be important context for certain decisions

I just binge-watched season 2, having only seen one or two episodes of Nathan for you previously. (plus some cultural osmosis)
