My thoughts exactly. They care about their profits and IP, and this likely won't end with AI having to attain copyright licenses from all holders, just them.

I don't think they're doing good actually, Disney doesn't care for artists in the slightest. They're only trying to protect their own copyright. They might even settle for some stupid shit like exclusive licensing.
