Ferguson under De Zerbi was a nuisance, could be a decent rotational option if noone else becomes available.

I agree.
I really like the potential of Ferguson, but feels like he’d be very low on the list of targets due to short term impact.
It would only make sense if Mikel saw him as the perfect fit for the squad moving forward. Gets him ready to hit the ground next season.

We would have to either break or make permanent Neto or Sterling. I would still struggle to see the immediate benefit though and that’s a big deal imo

I find his situation quite interesting. Not very often Brighton can’t find game time for one of their players - is this just a natural consequence of them improving as a club or a bad reflection on the player?

Every fan of their club that's ever piped in insists it's about fitness, but he also hasn't played very well of late. There were murmurs that De Zerbi was tough on him, maybe a change of scenery is needed
