Omg. This is Jasmine. She had an upper respiratory infection and she’s feeling all better but still has a tiny bit of inflammation giving her the funniest little trill-purr.

Wait - what? Does that trill mean a respiratory infection?? My Toffee has that all the time! And yes, she also snores... my vet keeps saying they don't find anything, but I worry I'm missing something.
She is not available for adoption just yet but she will be very soon! If you are interested and in the Burlington, VT area you can check here to see when she becomes adoptable: https://www.hsccvt.org/Cats
My little baby is also named Jasmine! It’s funny, because she trill-purrs like that whenever both my partner and I are next to her. We call her our little pigeon. 😂💕
Oh My, you just leaked the US Navy's top-secret submarine location ping. Now everyone knows!
Eleanor has FVR but it's now very mild after all the years of a calm environment but because of her regular nasal congestion she sometimes purrs just like that. She also snores quite well most night too.
Awwww--she sounds just like our Mama kitty did. (Who, notwithstanding her name, HATED kittens) Funny girl who could hurt you with the force of her loving headbutts while cooing like a dove.
cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuteness! my kitty girl has a lil hum to her purr but its definitely not this loud! i love love love this, hope she finds a great home
LMAOOOOOO aaawwwww, glad she's feeling better!
One of mine sounds like that whenever she really gets going, like audible from the next room level trill-purr.
"You need some WD-40 there or something?" 🤣
sweet tortie! I love these babies and have always had one in my life starting since I was 6. I hope she has a happy future when she's able to be adopted <33
Awww shes the sweetest bebe. Hope she fully recovers soon. Gotta make sure folks know shes not a Trill so she doesnt get banned from any Starfleet Facility.
Oh, Gina, my tortie, who also had multiple physical issues when she joined our family, heard the purrs and looked concerned. I think she recognized a fellow tortie who’s a fighter.

Is there any research into whether kitties get sore throats and if so whether it hurts when they purr? 😭
My Pippa was recently hospitalized for a URI. She wasn't showing typical symptoms, so we had no idea until it was almost too late!😱
