Yes, my dad was left with AFib after a heart attack. Beta blockers plus pacemaker have given him a normal life again. He's able to be quite active. To be fair, his doctors say his recovery had been exemplary, so probably not typical

I know people with it, albeit about 15-20 years younger, but I don't know if any used a pacemaker. One might? But the other uses medication.

Tried cardioversion and it didn't work. Ablation isn't likely to work. Now exploring pacemaker. Are they on meds with the pacemaker?
