Can a legal expert chime in on whether a judge can hold the NIH director and other presidential appointees in contempt for not obeying a temporary restraining order? Seems like the fear of jail should be greater than the fear of Chairman Maosk.

This mostly coincides with RFKjr vote though and that concerns me.

I think maybe they were stalling to give him full say on what to spend $ on (not that he can legally do that either)

And why red states didn’t sue. They’re ready for him to cherry pick.

Red states don’t sue because they don’t care about the harm caused. And I say this as someone in a red state with the worst bootlicking governor there is.

That’s generally true but then you have Britt who said she’s going to work with RFK so maybe there are back room deals.

I’m in a red state. We just got lucky with a Dem AG by 208 votes. We are hanging on by a thread but won’t be for long.

State politicians making sure of that
