On the HHS Leadership call today: 1 employee from CMS (Center for Medicare/Medicaid Service) and 2 employees from SSA (Social Security Administration) have died by suicide after their firing.

Effects of a job loss will put most people in the cycle of grief and loss. Process through the stages and steps, it’s IS a loss and people need to process and heal in order to move forward in a healthier way.

I was talking with someone at the gym and she said she worked in banking for 20 years and people thought they were going to get laid off quite frequently. I think this is still somewhat more cruel because they are also weaponizing it, not just doing it, but I didn't really know what to say.

These are mostly dedicated to marginalized groups, but I'm sure they can point you in the right direction if you feel the line doesn't pertain to you. 988 is no longer considered a safe line for the queer community since they removed their pronoun language.
