They "resurrect" Steve Trevor by putting his spirt/mind/whatever into the body of a stranger. A man that has no idea what's happening. And they fuck. A bunch. So yeah, REAL bad taste.

I have a real soft spot for the first, just because I have loved Wonder Woman since I was a kid, and I was so excited for a live action version. But if it wasn't for my deep love of the character, I'd have a lower opinion on that one.
