Some of the Russian propaganda wrt what it's trying to do in Ukraine is strikingly similar to the Israeli/western rhetoric wrt Gaza. Putin can only dream of being able to do to the Ukranians what Netanyahu has got away with. If the world should be arming Ukraine, it should definitely be arming Gaza.

Yes they're often doing this when nothing else is working, but I also think the Russian instinct, the false but deeply embedded assumption, is still that Ukrainians will at some point buckle and submit. Militarily, isn't this stuff just a waste of resources if you're trying to genuinely win?
