This was my job, path funded supportive housing street outreach and case management. Like everything else they will learn this hurts his followers. In my experience, angry maga experiencing homelessness are pretty disruptive.

Not just “many” are Veterans. Thousands and thousands are. It’s how the VA has largely reduced Veteran homelessness since the Bush administration they have partnered with HUD who provides the vouchers and VA provides social workers. This could be catastrophic.

Real ID is meant to harm the homeless population bc it requires a physical mailing address to get it. You cannot pick it up from DMV or have it mailed to PO Box. Its to round up homeless for El Sal

And no, we have such a culture of hating, harming, ignoring, and arguably genociding homeless here that it won't be brought up. Most homeless are disabled in some way. About 10% have experienced a recent loss of a loved one - profound grief made them homeless. And lots of ppl died during COVID.

Well, I am being told now by some people that sime states have different Real ID requirements - eg AZ possibly lets you mail it to a PO Box (but do you still need a permanent home address and would a shelter work?), I'll try to remember to call Monday and ask their DMV
