at least alberta has some pretty mountains and snow. also somehow the best sushi i have ever had (in calgary airport of all places). that said, living near the ocean is nice

for sure. coming form somewhere flat i was thoroughly impressed. i also had never seen snow so thick and present everywhere so i looked like a child bursting with excitement seeing it (i was 22 and this was last year)

i don't remember the name but i think it was a chain just they'd made it fresh

as someone who’s lived with snow her whole life, i despise it 🤣 i’ve known people who do an exchange here from other parts of the world and are amazed by the snow tho! so you are not alone in feeling that way!!

i’m gonna need to figure out that place for next time im at that airport!!

to be fair, it does cause many issues but it's pretty. my over-excited reaction every time i see snow or squirrels reminds me that despite my canadian citizenship, i am very much not canadian 😭

yes you should! if i remember i'll tell you. i got yam rolls (which i've never seen outside west canada)
