Either way, defaulting to a hidden view of your product isn’t smart UX. If StubHub really believes in their “Recommended” filter, let users opt into it; not struggle to opt out.

Is it to push certain ticket types? To guide buyers toward higher-margin listings? Or is it just a lazy IA decision with a costly ripple effect?

This “solution” benefits no one:
– Buyers don’t see all their options.
– Sellers get penalized with less visibility.
– And the business potentially loses transactions altogether.
