There’s speculation that COVID can damage the parts of the brain responsible for risk assessment and empathy. This might explain some of the changes we’ve seen in people and society the last few years.

Also fascinating because my ex also started getting more aggressive while driving, yelling at people more, etc. on top of treating me more poorly. I suspect he caught it on one of his many work trips and things started declining after that.

Now I knew about Covid literally lowering IQ and harming cognitive function, but it is somewhat....heartening? I suppose, that there does seem to be some connection to my theory.

I am already in that subreddit and have been for awhile now. I am also not living with my husband anymore, and am in the process of leaving him. He cannot force me not to mask anymore, as I put several states in between us.
