I've only ever flown twice in my life (to and from disney hell Paris), and the return flight, the plane came down at an angle and felt like it was about to roll over like that when it bounced over to one side, but to see it actually happen, that's pretty scary stuff!!

ATC was understaffed and overworked *before* they removed everyone who wasn't a white male. Part of their prior recruiting push was to increase the staffing levels by expanding the valid candidates without lowering quality. Trump fired everyone based skin or dangly bits, not merit.

Doubtful. DL doesn’t take animals in cargo - or they didn’t last year. And the CRJ has a very small baggage compartment, so I’m going to say “no”.

Another way to view this story.
The seats on the plane all had seatbelts.
All the passangers (And I suspect crew) were properly belted in.

Seat belts saved lives and with very few exceptions prevented even injuries. And I suspect most of the injuries were Panic based. (People did stupid things)

No expert whatsoever but from what I can tell, that plane came down hard, almost slamming into the ground (not gradual like in a normal landing) on the right landing gear, causing it to break resulting in the rollover. Could be pilot error, weather issues or poor maintenance or, all of the above.

50 year pilot here. Most likely low level wind shear. The right wing stopped producing lift, while the left wing was still doing so, which is why it rolled so hard to the right. I’m not sure why the right main gear leg appeared to fail - doesn’t seem hard enough to make that happen, but we’ll see.

B/c there was a happy ending, no deaths, I think I can say this; when the plane came to a stop upside down, the Capt said to the co-pilot “what gate do we go to?”.
