I used to think we could form a partnership with our Canadian neighbors and fight big pharma's dominance over drug prices. We seem to have burned that bridge too along with everything else.
Now I see that another billionaire is selling us a glass of water as we drown in a sea of bullshit.
My pharmacist talked to me out of using my RX card for a prescription so that I could apply the cost to my deductible. I did it and then when I got home I was like what the hell is that?

You can't appreciate how much you are overcharged for meds until you check this site & compare. I take one that would cost over $150 for 90 days with my insurance & is $17 on this site, including shipping. It's not for meds you need today for an acute issue, but for the long term stuff, it's ideal.
Would love if you have a plan to apply this model to dental care and eye glasses, two areas almost everyone needs and are excluded/ price gauged by insurance companies.
Your potential customer base is literally everyone.
My neurologist was the one that told me about https://costplusdrugs.com and he is very pleased to see this resource for patients. I think other doctors will feel the same. ☺️
Great resource! Integrating @costplusdrugs.com with benefits could really help cut down on out-of-pocket expenses. It’s good to see solutions that prioritize savings. Have you tried it out yourself?
Listen, I'm first in line to eat the rich, but Mark answered this question yesterday. It's $0, relies on word of mouth, and the program helps thousands of people every day. Let's not turn our noses up at services that are helping us exclusively because someone makes money on it.
If you knew how much time I've spent criticizing Team Unicorn and their self-defeating nonsense like "Clinton is the same as Trump" that helped get us into this mess, you wouldn't be so quick to make errant accusations like that. I'm the furthest thing from Horseshoe Theory you've interacted with.
You don't have to be employed to purchase from https://costplusdrugs.com. you just need a prescription. Now, if only there was a way to get quality Healthcare without a job.
I wasn't referring to purchasing from cost plus drugs. Mark was promoting using a particular benefits card to get lower prices, but that card appears only to be available through employers.
he is a business man. of course he will make $ but he is doing something to help those who need lower costs. where is t-rump or e-lon or bezos with providing lower costs for drugs? the altruistic part is he he cares enough to try something that may not be perfect but its a start.
and if you had taken time to actually read the post instead of jumping to conclusions, you would’ve seen someone asked Cuban a specific question & he gave a response.
It wasn’t advertising like the stunt at the WH for Teslers!! 🤣
Commercials for something good, though. One of my meds is $1500 at CVS, or under $10 on costplusdrugs. He’s doing something good that people need to know about. His ads are more like PSAs, tbh, even if he’s getting paid for the work he puts in.
@mcuban.bsky.social any plans to expand to Canada? Our drug costs are much less expensive than in the US but if someone doesn’t have a drug plan from their employers benefits, it can still be quite costly. Or, can Canadian’s buy from your US company?
Just enrolled in Cost Plus Drugs…even though you don’t accept my insurance at this time, I will still save an about half of what I’m paying now! Thanks so much!
Thank you @mcuban.bsky.social for providing us with a way to afford our prescriptions - @costplusdrugs.com offers many more medications now than it did just a year ago. Hopefully even more will be added soon as some vital medications are not yet available to us.

Nurtec is phenomenal, only thing that works for me right now. The drug companies are insane here, charging what they do. Each Nurtec is $120-150 a tablet, the prices of some of this medication should be outright illegal. Insanity.
See https://Needymeds.org search for available financial assistance programs - copay cards, grants, etc., often thru the manufacturers but some thru nonprofits. Options differ by drug. Be leary of pop-up ads & avoid on this or any site. Here’s the link to Nurtec direct site: https://www.nurtec.com/savings
@mcuban.bsky.social I use https://costplusdrugs.com & it saves me $1200 a month. I have insurance & it's ridiculous how much prescription drugs still cost. You have literally saved my mental health & probably my life because without my meds I don't know where I would be. So thank you!
What’s the use of the card, when the GOP is blocking and taking and eliminating everything?
You as a billionaire will only be the one to have access or even afford such🤔.
Did you check to see if there are generics in place if those drugs? Happened with my health plan this year. Certain expensive brand name drugs are now only available as generics which is actually better for your employees. Cheaper !
It isn’t. A relative has ulcerative colitis and I get her meds for literally $500 less. We tried Good Rx and although it’s helpful for some things, it wasn’t for this. She’s on a fixed income and Costplus has been a lifesaver. (I also thought it was fake at first.)
We NEED universal healthcare, these measures of selling your medical data to get lower prices are just sad attempts to suck what little value is considered left of the working class
I so detest this manipulative attempt from corporatists to use social media for their own gains. The country is going tits up and we're being sold benevolence by savings, when the system clearly need the ability to negotiate across the board like in Europe.
@costplusdrugs.com is disrupting one of the most corrupt businesses most people never knew existed and after only a few years @mcuban.bsky.social understands pharmacy benefit managers and their nefarious practices better than employers who went along without questioning and put them in place
And no benefit for him right? How about this. The gov - like every single developed country out there, negotiate prices. drug makers make money, citizens saves money. No need for the benevolence of corporations that can change their pricing whenever they want once they have enough market share.
I agree. It's insane not to negotiate. I'm think even the Medicare Part D insulin $ cap was a patient cap, Medicare paid difference. Give employers a tool to save their employees money. No, I don't support employer provided insurance - but that is today's reality.
I think part of what's concerning within your country can be found in many of these unhinged, ignorant comments. These same people probably think Trump is doing one hell of a job.
Hi Mark, I’m the president of a local teacher’s union that will begin negotiations for a new contract in the fall. How do I know this company will actually help my fellow teachers? Can you direct me to more specific info?
Thanks!
Going to pass this along to my wife @nimbi726.bsky.social. she told me that our insurance has "sectioned" us and now a lot of my meds aren't being covered without a ridiculous process and even then they may not cover it. Even with simple meds like Hydroxyzine. We can't find cromolyn anymore either
Living with paraplegia means daily challenges. I'm raising funds for an enclosed mobility scooter to boost my independence and improve my quality of life. Every donation truly matters. Your support means the world to me. More details on my GoFundMe. Donating or sharing is great. https://gofund.me/0af928df
I just promoted this to my daughter last week.
What drugs are available through this are too limited.
Yes, there is the option when your medication isn't listed but how long until it is. None of the medications she or I need are on the list. Serving everyone must be difficult.
It probably also has to do with the actual makers not wanting to provide a more reasonable cost. None of mine are listed, but I'm thankful it's helped some friends who were able to use it.
Prescription drugs. He sells them at a huge discount. So if you ever need them or you have family who complains about high cost meds they can't afford tell em about cost plus drugs, it's online. And who knows if they ever legalize it cost plus might also sell weed.😂
My dad discovered costplus recently. Hes had a rough couple years of health and costs are not crushing but significant. This will save him a couple hundred bucks a month relative to before! Thanks! 👊🏼
I wish you could make joining CostPlusDrugs as easy as it was for me to join Amazon pharmacy. I didn't have to fill out some dumb, complicated for. I just opened and account and transferred my prescriptions from RiteAid
If you can get some of these big HR companies like Inspirity to pick this up that would be a huge win. Lots of little companies offload their HR and benefits to these other companies to manage.
Mr. Cuban, could you please stop using Bluesky as an advertising venue for insurance hucksters??
I’m more interested in how Luigi Mangione is doing these days, thanks.
You have to go to the medication list and see if it’s covered pharmaceutical name and you should get a breakdown make sure to edit or you won’t get an accurate cost based on your quantity and everything else
You can check to see. They have a thing to connect your insurance, although they don’t take all. You can still check to see if your medication is cheaper than a pharmacy.
Hey Mark, 🙏🏼there’s really gonna be a lot of us that are gonna die, aren’t we? They are trying to kill many of us. You can be honest with us. What can we really do to stop this?
Mark we need more Non villainous Billionaires like yourself out doing the good work for the good people of America! You are truly an American hero! and "That's no joke"
I’ve been on Xarelto for many years due to a blood disorder that makes me a super clotter. Under my previous orgs prescription plan I paid $30 a month. I’ve just started retirement and found out it’s $500 a month. I’m guessing many olds need to be on blood thinners. I appreciate all you do.
It’s pathetic that this is where we are today. One of my meds was $60 under my last emp’s insurance. Under my new insurance it is $1,800. And I’m well employed and well insured. I can’t imagine what this is like for folks less fortunate than myself.
I dare you to put a customer service number on the card in print that is big enough for 50 yo to read without glasses and is answered by someone in the US within 5 minutes.
do you even know what costplus is and the back story? take a little time to understand. he is a billionaire bcuz he is an entrepreneur but he isn’t like the others. he at least has provided options for us who don’t have insurance & need our meds. its a start & can be improved upon
ACA us the start of UHC and with time it needs to be improved.
You obviously are just pissed off & can’t see the incremental progress.
I get it. I am currently unemployed but was wise enuf to save to allow myself the time I needed for my family to process my dad’s death. So for now, Cost+ it is.
Yes, I suppose I’ll need an alternative to the Canadian pharmacies from which I’ve been buying Cayleigh’s inhalers, now that our misleader-in-chief has alienated us from Canada. From CANADA, for chrissake! Only the idiocrat of the century could manage to do that 🤬🤯
Do you have a pill for Muskularscorosis?
It’s a South African disease that make sure you think you can turn another country into a dictatorship.
Very bad for mental health .
If you’re talking about Schedule II drugs which opioids are. They can’t be mailed. I’ve been told there is currently quite a shortage because of the ‘opioid crisis’. I have a disabled friend who had to wait a month to fill a prescription.
I was "forced" on brand name because generics weren't available for over 8 months. brand name coverage denied by PPO, even though I met all PA requirements. cost of brand vs generics: $567 ($347 w/discount card) vs $10. it's the only drug that's worked (I've tried 6). waiting on surgery now...
thanks!
I get some of the hoops we gotta jump through, but not all of them. tumors, botched surgeries & imaging of pancaked discs should could for something...right? we should get a blue check mark for "real pain verified". ✔️
Mr. Cuban one thought about bringing more business back to the US. We need something along the lines of Medicare for all. The privatized system is terribly expensive to business owners and if they didn’t have to absorb those expenses they’d come back. The extra tax revenue would help absorb gov cost.
So far GoodRx has been better as it seems to cover everything whereas some of my meds I could not get using costplus. I did check cost plus. Any ideas why GoodRx can do that?
Wondering as well. We pay out of pocket for health insurance $2650/month $7k deductible and have an HSA. Were told we weren't allowed to use prescription savings programs in our state.
@mcuban.bsky.social Hey Mark,
I’m a professor at UT-Austin with a timely idea that could help a large market in education with all of the recent changes. Would love to connect and share more. Let me know if you're open to a quick chat or if you’re in town for SXSW. Thx.
I take a prescription strength version of Omega 3 for elevated triglycerides and I’m on a high deductible plan. A 90-day supply costs me almost $300 at CVS, which applies to the deductible. I get it for $70 delivered from CP. Doesn’t apply to deductible, but worth the savings.
@mcuban.bsky.social with all of your vast amounts of wealth as well as all of your liquid assets why not just use this to allow free prescriptions with all of your vast wealth you would help so many Americans not by discounting but by giving it away for free
I am so thankful for cost plus drugs. My drugs without insurance on cost plus are way less expensive than using my Medicare part D at the pharmacy. Please make more drugs available and let veterinarians prescribe for our pets.

Nurtec is a miracle, but I can't afford $1,200 for each prescription refill!
EPIPEN is $300. I just pray I can get to ER because I can't afford it. I've had two close calls with severe allergic reactions.

we should impound anything over a billion, than use it for social programs these people are trying to cut.
I'm sick of Mark, why do I see his garbage..?
I don't fallow this fool and I only call him a moron.
To the point we get such subpar healthcare from our employers that it may as well not even exist.
