No-NAFTA became settled in 1988-then adjusted over a 4-6 yr time to come into full force in 1994-Rs will always tell you it was Democrat/Clinton but it isn’t their fault they followed what R’s created during Reagan’s presidency

The agreement between Reagan-US, Mulroney-Canada and (I forget who) Mexican presidents was first signed in 1988- more important issues ironed out final agmt by 1992- but ask any R he’ll say Clinton did it but Dems just adjusted issues of lumber, cheese and other hot buttons until finally finished-
