We call and write, we protest and testify, they do it anyway. We cite the Constitution, they do it anyway. We explain why it's terrible, how it will hurt not only the people they hate but also their own voters and the institutions they say they care about, they do it anyway.

I’ve been to the Lege this session. They’re pulling all kinds of shenanigans to not hear testimony or get input from citizens. They’re just gonna do what they planned to do… Full Stop! They gotta get voted out next cycle. It’s been 27 years of hell under GOP rule. 🤬

Same. I just made another call to my rep this morning, who is actually in a leadership position and could do something about the higher ed bill up for a vote today. I really hope he will but I'm not holding my breath.
