Unlike in many conflicts where mines are used you can not go there by accident. Some animals sure, but that's better than Russians larping conquerers.

It’s the unknown old mines that are a problem. If you mine an area and cordon it off it’s generally not going to kill anyone. But it will prevent invaders from trying to cross that area.
