The CPC will squeeze for tax breaks for the well-to-do to the ultra wealthy, plus cuts to federal services & provincial transfers. Carney will oblige because he's one of them.
The Bloc will squeeze for QC when the CPC makes threats.

I give it two years until the Carney austerity starts to hurt enough that the NDP gain the confidence to try again.

The middle-right Liberals now have a fiscally conservative leader who committed to a $225 billion austerity deficit to protect corps & billionaires.
And the fascist-right Conservatives now hold a greater balance of power. This election elevated them.

He uses all the language of austerity without saying the word itself. His costed plan sets out austerity in hard numbers.
