Also, I never said this was a *bad* thing. It's like getting to eat a delicious physical manifestation of the concepts of iteration and recursion. That's GREAT.
It's absolutely true. I went to visit the factory as a kid and it's all the goo that falls off the machines/ isn't pretty. Glad to see it recycled.. wish they could do something with the literal mountains of polos.
That reminds me... I have never recovered from that Last Week Tonight (i think?) segment that focused on the massive variety of Kit-Kat flavors available in Japan
We don't get strawberry or wasabi flavored Kit-Kats at stores in Delaware where I live, and I'm always gonna be low-key mad about that 😅
So does that mean if they made a new KitKat factory they would need to run the machine until they had enough KitKats to grind into ingredients to make KitKats? And does that mean the first round of KitKats are hollow?
This makes for a better question than the chicken or the egg. If true, the first Kit Kat bar was not actually a Kit Kat bar. And so none of them are true Kit Kat bars. Real head scratcher we’ve got here.
why does this feel like a Soylent Green twist, instead of just a sensible and delicious waste-free approach to candy making? Maybe because you called it goo and used the phrase "ground up" like it was a clean-up job by the Mob? 🤔😄

It’s ”a magical girl” show
I can recommd it
"How many Girl Scouts does it take to make Girl Scout cookies? Depends on how thin you slice them."
