Perhaps the intelligent electorate thought it was a hopeless cause because of the historical / political background of the seat and it would be similar to a wasted vote.
Well, they get what they deserve. A candidate from a genocide supporting party who when he actually turns up for interviews can hardly string three words together. Land of the gullible.
I'm relieved grifting Reform failed to win the victory the media seems to want. Sth Lanarkshire was a staunchly Unionist area when I was younger. I suspect they'll sorely miss Christina.
Nothing. Think a reform vote is a ‘let’s give the usual parties a kicking’ vote. A chance to hit back at their votes over last decades not having any effect or making things better. For many the actual policies are irrelevant. It’s what’s happened in US. Happening here.
A low turnout and some voters moved to Reform based on the blanket news coverage. Labour vote share remained same. But yes, the stupid ones seemed to be hoodwinked by immigrant news stories
Zero sympathy for the SNP. If you dont have a plan for your key policy, have no interest in promoting it, why would people bother to vote for you? A decade of own-goals, they deserved that result last night.
I’m afraid so. The chance to re-evaluate its place in the world and recognise it is no longer an imperial giant will be a good thing. It may be able to become more comfortable in its own skin.

The sinking giant was given the lifeline of EU membership, but in its arrogance it cast itself adrift.
Sadly, Scotland tied itself to the wrong mast.
You don’t get to be racist and Scottish either….
