Pure, utter devastation is what I’m feeling. Akin to how I feel after watching a lot of his films. Just awful. Selfish of me, but I was hoping for one more masterpiece.

I just re-watched half his filmography this week, and introduced my fiancee to his work (though we did watch the original Dune years ago) before Denis' versions.

I'm truly saddened by this passing, a true legend and fanatic of the craft.

He not only was a visionary, but he introduced me to cinema I'd never of watched without his suggestion.

Like Fellini or Tatti... man this sucks.
