As many content creators migrate to BlueSky from Xitter, a friendly request to please update the app to allow saving of drafts and uploading longer videos, @bsky.app @support.bsky.team

Blue checkmarks are not coming to Bluesky. Bluesky does not want to be Twitter or like any traditional social media company. Official accounts can verify their identity by using their website domains.
Blue checkmark, verified badge, it’s all the same. Bluesky does not want to be the authority that verifies accounts. They’ve left it up to us with the domain handle option.
You’re still misunderstanding my point. It doesn’t matter where it’s placed if Bluesky the company has to be the one who verifies accounts. Bluesky does NOT want to verify any accounts, so they have left it up to us with domains.
This is the result of a decentralized social media network.
I think native videos longer than a minute on a platform like this is pretty niche, I can’t see it being trivial or a super high priority rn given the scaling demands they’re under rn. Saving drafts on the other hand seems like one of the easier QoL they could knock out.
They're working hard to address the incredible surge, but drafts would be a valuable addition ... alongside what is a significant priority list and roadmap. Many are also noting an edit option, but should be limited to a short timeframe after a post.
It would also be cool to have an option to write longer posts that could be linked to within the site. Like notes, etc.
I have a ton of info to share that I have to post on my blog to share because 300 characters ain't about shit to try to get something across to someone.
@bsky.app needs an edit feature!! Please!!! Some of us anal retentive, perfectionists get anxiety when we see spelling/grammar mistakes or something that just doesn’t sound right and we CAN’T FIX IT 😵💫
I have deleted and reinstalled the app on my phone and I still can't follow or block people. Sent a couple of emails and haven't heard back. Very frustrating.
Hi Bryan - a free @buffer.com account and their browser extension - or mobile app - will give you a drafts feature, content planning and scheduling tools. I'm not affiliated 🤓
They are working on the massive influx and keeping things just up and running. It’s like the early days of Threads and Post. Updates will come I’m sure
If you use https://buffer.com to post you can create drafts(ideas) then cross post to up to 3 social sites at once for free. Also let's you schedule posts. Adding bluslesky video support in next week with same length rules.

There’s only one @nytimes.com, @npr.org, etc.
I want to know that the person I'm following is not an impersonator, and sadly not everyone has an official website they can link up.
I want a verified indicator on the person's profile before following it. There are too many impersonators on this app.
As I said, many people do not have websites they can link. Sure, it's great for NYT, but not so much for a Dr in foreign policy.
This is the result of a decentralized social media network.
They are already challenged by not having been equipped to handle all the new accounts that have been added.
Bluesky went down a few days ago from the increased demand.

I have a ton of info to share that I have to post on my blog to share because 300 characters ain't about shit to try to get something across to someone.
I've been reporting small user experience bugs and minor feature requests that can be found in traditional social media platforms.
I did see your 2 points being mentioned already as a priority.
Can you pass that on?
It's not an open issue anymore, meaning that the issue should be fixed in 1 of the upcoming updates.
Right now being able to handle 1M new users per day is their top priority.
Patience is a virtue.
Personally, I think the issue of impersonators is a much more pressing one than drafting or longer vidéos, but that's just my two cents.
