Oh, fuck yes. I’ve been saying for over 10 years that Naveen Andrews should have been Khan. This was my dream casting.

We can keep Cumberbatch but I would have made him Joachim because he looked so much like the original actor.

That’s what I would have done if I wrote it. Made the main villain Joachim looking for his boss Khan and his people.

Every one of them were super-soldiers, so any of them potentially could have been a near-equal threat to Khan, especially if desperate to find and release him.

I can't wait. I'm a big fan of audio series. Big Finish have killed it for over 25 years for Doctor Who. Always found it strange that Trek hasn't really done much in this medium. Takei could finally get his Excelsior series.

Hard to say for certain. All I can tell you for certain is that we pick up right from the end of the 1967 episode “Space Seed.” There are references to some of the events of the Eugenics Wars, but I don’t think we pinned them to specific dates.

We did our best. It was a fascinating challenge learning to tell a story with only sound and dialogue, and not having visuals to help carry major moments. I had to do a crash-course in the art of writing radio plays.

I remember really enjoying that an audiobook was the way we were getting to fill in those blanks on Rafi and Seven's relationship. It somehow felt more intimate, like I was somehow listening in on their conversation. Can't wait for more!
